I have a russian SKS dated 1954, a TT-33 Tokarev dated 1946 and a 1950's Husqvarana Deer rifle in .270 win built on a M98 mauser action.

The way I see it is this: As a canadian I can get a norinco ar-15 for 699.99. That's less than half what other ar-15's cost here.

It's M4 length, flattop, light barrel profile... nothing special but nothing shitty either. Just a solid dependable plinker/SHTF gun. The only bad thing I've seen anyone on the CGN forums say about them is a rough finish on the early models but everything since 2010 has been fine.

I don't plan on tacticooling it out... maybe a nice sight at most. Seems like a no brainer.

Well for one, the disconnector and the sear are one and the same in an M9. Glock disconnectors are completely different as are the sears, the trigger bars interact with the sears very differently. Also steyr subframes are nothing like glocks. Basically they are nothing alike internally.

To say that a steyr is a glock copy simply because they're both polymer framed and striker fired is to akin to saying that AR18s are AK copies. They both have rotating bolts and stamped receivers so the AR18 must be an AK copy right?

The 452 lux isn't made anymore, it was replaced by the 455, you can have your local gunshop order one or buy one online and ship it to your nearest FFL. The other two are surplus rifles. You can find K31s with relative ease at places like wideners.com and classicarms.us, the Czeck k98 will be very hard to find, not many were made, German k98s are pretty plentiful but they command a fairly high price.
