    309 KB Shower Routine Anonymous 01/02/12(Mon)00:44 No.3974475
    ITT: Your shower routine.
It's related because it's how all you /fa/shionable people stay fashionable.

Personal hygiene is a key factor in looking fresh and good, so in this thread, we can fix eachothers fucked up shower routines.

OP's Routine: Firstly, always use a new towel. Old wet towels feel like shit.
    >Get in shower
    >Turn that shit on
    >Body wash + Scrubber = Clean skin
    >Rinse
    >Shampoo hair, scrubbing scalp
    >Rinse hair
    >Conditioner in hair
    >Leave for around 5 minutes
    During wait time:
    >Shaving cream face
    >Shave, washing blade after each stroke
    >Rinse face
    >Apply acne cream (Proactive is my brand)
    >Rinse
    >Brush Teeth if I haven't already outside of shower
    >Rinse hair of conditioner
    >Turn shower off, get out, dry off
    >Get dressed
    >???
    >Profit

Picture related, he's doing it right.

I believe in taking care of myself and a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine. In the morning if my face is a little puffy I'll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.

That feel when I just wash arm-pits and shower for like 2 min and don't give a fuck about conditioners, lotions, or anything other than the cheapest soap at the food market and yet get enough pussy to feed Somalia for a week only with the fluids.

It makes your 2 hour/$50 routines kind of bitter-sweet, doesn't it?

I shower once a month and fap whilst waiting for my shampoo to float my way in the clogged tub.
Then I condition my pubes, because bitches love smooth ball hair, and afterwards I wash my asshairs with toothpaste to get minty smelling farts.
As far as washing my body goes, I just rub my skin with no soap and let the dirt sausages peel off.
    >> Anonymous 01/02/12(Mon)03:28 No.3974957
ok i got this shit down to a science.
first of all, yes, use a new towel every time.
secondly, have two bars of soap (i'll explain this later)

step into the shower, and immediately wash your hands (with water and one bar of soap. keep this bar separated)

once you have your hands properly washed, you shampoo/condition your hair, or what have you, FIRST.

reason being is you dont want that shitty shampooed water with dirty dripping over your skin after youve already washed it.

so the routine goes from top to bottom, to avoid re-dirtying your skin.

after your hair, take the bar of soap you used to wash your hands and rinse it in water again. begin to clean your neck, armpit, arms, then work to your torso /back (skip your genitalia) and then finish with your legs and feet.

now get the 2nd bar of soap and clean your genitalia/asshole.

additionally, and you should, use a third bar of soap (or face wash) and wash your face.

and i like to finish off by turning the cold water on for a few minutes to just soak yourself in cold water.

turn off the water and dry/clothe yourself

I know different skin types are supposed to use different stuff, but anyone have a good exfoliator for normal/oily skin? I get some clean&clear shit and it never feels like it got rid of the dead skin. Suggestions would be nice.

For anyone looking for something cheap, masks by Jeune Montagne, pretty sure that's it, are pretty good and they're like $1.

Seriously, how do you guys do the cold water?
    >rinse everything
    >shampoo and scrub well with garnier length and strength or dove cleansing if I'm greasy.
I'm a grease ball. I shampoo everyday, my hair is still silky, shiny, and strong. Fuck natural oils.
    > dove damage repair conditioner.
Use it even if you don't have damage. I don't have split ends or frizz but makes my hair super strong. Leave it in until you're done with your shower. The longer the better.
    >scrub my body well with Dove moisturizing exfoliation wash
    >wash face with my $200 vibrating face scrubber and face cleanser.
Fucking worth the money. I wash my face at night with the Clearasil Nighttime wash. I have sensitive skin and it helps and works really well. I don't like harsh chemicals on my face, so I do quick washes with non-scented bar soap.
    >scrub arm pits
    >wash my butt and lady parts
    (always do that last kids!)
    >shave if i have time
    >rinse everything, rinse hair super well
if you have greasy hair/dandruff, you're probably not rinsing enough or don't shampoo well.

try a salt or sugar scrub. I used to just take simply sugar and scrub and wash with bar soap. I use a Clearisonic scrub brush now, expensive but worth the money. Super fresh feel everytime and I don't get break outs.

This is OP, completely off-topic, how should a man deal with armpit air?

I play Tennis, that's it. Should I trim, let it grow, shave, or what?

    Only thing I'm unsure of.

A man shouldn't trim any hair except on the face, neck and top of the head, unless that hair is unusually dark, thick, or in an unusual location.

    My routine.
    >Put laptop on table in front of toilet
    >Turn shower on cold
    >Masturbate for 30 to 45 minutes
    >Get off
    >close like 11 tabs
    >browse 4chan or minecraft forums as I cool down
    >realize it's like 2:15 A.M.
    >Put laptop on counter
    >turn shower all the way on hot
    >lay a towel out on the bathroom floor
    >sit on shower floor for 15 to 20 minutes until I'm practically asleep
    >get up
    >lather my hair with store brand dandruff shampoo
    >rinse it out
    >use bar soap under my arms if I'm not too tired
    >get out of shower and lay down on the towel I laid out earlier
    >get on my side in the fetal position and cover myself with a big beach towel
    >lay there for about 7 minutes
    >get up and put on underwear
    >wrap up my laptop in a towel
    >wrap myself in a towel
    >go upstairs to bed

I do this like twice a week now since I'm on vacation and don't have to see anybody except my family for a month.
