    Hey /fa/. First time visitor here because I am interested in becoming fashionable. I figured you guys might be able to help.

    I was wondering what you all thought of how I usually dress for college etc. and if you have any tips I'd be happy to hear them. Normally, I wear:
    A field cap, because I have one laying around the house.
    A field jacket when it's cold (and it's always cold). It's olive and like pic related, which is a random pic I grabbed off a surplus store and is almost identical. I think I am wearing old army issue gear...
    A blank shirt that is white/grey/olive (or, if I feel adventurous, black).
    Beige cargo pants.
    Boots.

    Whenever I look in the mirror I feel like I'm about to go into combat...
    So, what do you think of my "outfit" and how do I fix it?

    P.S. I like to be able to carry a lot of shit.

    Start off really basic and get some t-shirts, jeans and a few other bits and pieces that suit your body type for cheap from a shitty store like h&m or topshop. (inb4 poorfag/shit quality/i like to pretend that I can afford designer when i'm online)

    Just then branch out from that, you don't need to go and buy a fitted suit like i'm sure someone will suggest, maybe buy an oxford shirt for some variety.
    Get some basic, blend in with the crowd, shoes as well. Sambas/converse/vans.
