Some things you can do to improve your image are:

I'm not an expert on what kind of glasses would suit the shape of your face etc, so I genuinely can't give you an answer. However I'd recommend going into a store and simply trying on glasses. It's how I found my and how I'll always find them really, it's very hard to tell otherwise.

The only problem with the ones you have now is that they are too wide. Look at your jaw and cheek line and see how the outside of the frame is well past that? It's also made worse by your hair covering most of your face.

Something like pic related is good and it will match your hair but if it's the wrong size it won't suit you. Where did you get your current glasses? The clerk who sold them to you doesn't know shit. Can you refund them based on clerk incompetence?

I did that with my first frames. They were too big and I was new to the whole glasses thing so I didn't know. I took them back and they had a 3 month window where I can get a refund if I didn't like them.

A simple haircut and some makeup will do wonders. If you're already working on the wardrobe I would say going to a hairdresser and finding out what hair best suits you will make pickings glasses easier. Some glasses look better with certain haircuts.

I'd recommend you to go with some larger glasses such as ray bans or others of that type. Bigger glasses will give the illusion of a smaller face. The ones you're wearing in the pic make your face look longer. Get them in black so it's easier to combine them with anything.
If you can get contacts even better. You have very pretty eyes. Glasses tend to hide them.

Get your eyebrows done. They're a bit thick.

Wear livelier colors. Blue, green, red, pink, yellow...

And probably the most important thing to improve your image... SMILE :D
