If your legs fit and you upper body is too large you'll be triangle man chickenleg mode. Get jeans that are slim but well proportioned to your body.

Personally I don't like them. I find that, in college, girls up to the age of 20 think they're hot and thereafter they see skinny jeans as being entirely immature and ill-fitting.
