Hey /fa/. I don't post here often, or ever really, but I'm thinkin' about getting a messenger bag and I'm sure you guys would know best.

See, I got myself a laptop about six months ago, and ever since then, I've been thinkin' about getting a messenger bag. I ride my bike all over the place and I want something that could really keep anything I'd need for goin' out and staying out, like toothbrush, laptop, some extra clothes, iPod, DS, etc. I have no idea what messenger bags I should look into, where the deals are at, or if I should even be getting one.

Pic somewhat related. Google said this was an "exciting messenger bag". I'm not sure I agree...

Off the front page so I'll bump this up, but it doesn't seem like you guys are interested in this.

    Eh, no biggie.

Somewhat relevant to my interests. I wouldn't mind having a messenger bag.

    Price range?

I guess max would be $100. I guess if I see something that I really like that costs more, I can wait until like Christmas or somethin', put it on my Christmas list. Or get a job, that could also be a good idea. Even $100 might be pushing it, I'm really not sure, I'd have to see just how nice it is.

J.Crew has some goodies. UO has a decent looking one for cheap, wouldn't bet on it being of great quality though. I bought mine at Nordstroms in the men's Rail section at their last sale, it's amazing.

Also it would help to find a picture of a messenger bag that is something that interests you, OP.

I was going to say look at Jack Spade, but most of those are $200+

Seems a bit too fancy-lookin' for me. But thanks for the suggestion.

JC Crew seems a bit pricey, but I'll look into Nordstrom, thanks.

As for ones that I like, I don't really have any pictures, but I think I'm more into the ones that "hipsters" supposedly like. Less leather and more... hmm, well, less leather.

wouldn't bike riding be a pain in the ass with a messenger bag?
