    sup /diy/kes, i picked up an old computer off the street, its a Microsoft Millennium Edition tower PC that was left on a NYC street for a couple hours, what should i salvage, making a server with the HD (my friend has a couple other harddrives) and im using the fan, what else should i salvage? its old (was made in 2000, hence Millennium edition) the 2 ram slots have a 64 mb card and a 128 card, what do? had to destroy to sides of it so no projects with the case, any ideas? pic somewhat related

    you can use the psu as a power supply for electronic projects, or just salvage the caps n stuff..
    check the cards and board for logic ics if you have use for it..
    theres not much you can do w/ the computer .. you could use it as a firewall .. mailsever or for home automation.. maybe emulate snes games :\
