    I have a question for you con-goers. Is it actually possible for you to simply sit down and have a civil/normal discussion about 4chon without having to shout out memes or be obnoxious? I was actually moderately excited to go to a 4chon meet up (despite what I had seen of the Otakon videos and of course Borris) but upon going to Acen 2006 I was greeted by a bunch of faggots (and moot standing quietly, I guess you're a faggot too moot but in a different way) screaming out any meme they could and desperately looking for any possible attention they could get.

    Is it possible for a 4chan meetup to be a simple sitdown discussion/talk/hang out instead of a screaming memes fest? If so where can I go to participate in this?

    the 4chan meetup at Otakon '08 wasn't too bad... I mean there were a few memes and shit spouted which granted a
    /facepalm
    but the moment was there. Other than that it wasn't much talk about 4chan and meme's... we actually had a discussion about the con and such and we met a 4channer that had one of his forearms amputated (how do you browse /b/ with only one hand though D: ) (if you're reading this, you had a fuckwin Blind Guardian shirt on that night, though. But Nightfall in Middle Earth is still my favorite album.) Overall it was a nice experience though I didn't get to see all of it. Did everyone go to hooters like that one cumdumpster said she wanted us all to do?
