    Super cute.

She was great last year, too. I liked the addition of Navi.

she deserved best in show : /
    >> Anonymous 08/12/08(Tue)23:43 No.2812
She got a standing ovation if I remember correctly.
    >> Anonymous 08/13/08(Wed)00:06 No.2836
How was the masquerade? I heard except for this skit, it was lame as shit.

it wasn't too bad. The trio of lolis at the start were pretty cool. Quite a few skits were rather lame, but that just made the good ones stand out more.

Did the same skit last year and mediocre costume. If she wore a better costume and played something different then she might have had a chance.

who did win best in show? no one else was really deserving.

I think it was the Eternal Rhapsody skit that had the charlie brown song in it.
    >> Anonymous 08/13/08(Wed)21:20 No.3460
Does she do the same skit at every convention? She did this exact same thing at anime boston a few months ago, and at otakon last year, and at anime boston again last year, and probably other conventions i don't go to
    >> Anonymous 08/14/08(Thu)04:57 No.3722
Yes. Shit is old. She will keep doing it until judges do not give her anything.
    >> Anonymous 08/14/08(Thu)13:27 No.3818
She was the only one that people actually standed up to clap for. Her delicious flute remix was totally a winner, and she's fucking cute. Who cares if she does it a shitton, I want moar!

Came too late for this, wish I would've saw it
    >> Anonymous 08/15/08(Fri)23:35 No.4619
It got too unbearable and we left in the middle of the masquerade, but it really couldn't get better then this. I was told that she didn't win though, which doesn't make sense because she was the only one to recieve real applause.
    >> Anonymous 08/16/08(Sat)00:04 No.4633
Her performance was spectacular. I was up front so I saw everything, but going back and forth she made funny expressions and such. I think it was different from what she did at Boston, but I block out most of that masquerade due to that bitch MC there.
    >> Anonymous 08/17/08(Sun)08:19 No.5126
    I would gladly watch this skit a thousand times. I wish there was a recorded version of her LoZ Medley. ;o;
    >> Anonymous 08/17/08(Sun)08:34 No.5128
Does she have a coscom account?

You people realize that in order to get best in show, you need a great skit AND superb craftsmanship. So, even though she got a great response for her skit, her craftsmanship didn't come close to the group who had actually won, with their highly detailed costumes and props.

So, if I'm correct, she got first place Novice performance, which is still a high and well deserved honor for her.
    >> Anonymous 08/17/08(Sun)18:52 No.5228
If every vapid yaoi fanservice skit was replaced by a musical performance half the caliber of this one, I swear to god, I would be the happiest person alive and masquerades would probably be more respected and enjoyable parts of conventions.

Goddamn, this is godfuckingamazing. Maybe she should meet up with Ramen and Rice sometime.

I call bullshit. She never was at Boston; if some girl played as a "Flute Link" at Boston then it probably was some shitty clone. Her first and only performances were at Otakon, '07 and just this year's.
