the best part by far was late saturday night when a group full of 20-30 /b/ failures were so busy marching up pratt street basking in their own awesomeness and spouting stupid memes at the people in front of them, that they neglected to turn a few degrees to the left to notice moot standing in front of the pratt street doors.

and you guys can thank moot for having the 4chan panels canceled this year. tell him not to be a dumbass by switching his panel from everyone to 18+ back and forth ten times.

I saw Moot there (and the whole crew, actually) on Friday afternoon, but unlike a whole lot of assholes I just kind of went, "Oh, that's Moot. Is Snacks...yup, there he is, too," and went on about my business. It was like a game of Where's Waldo to me; I didn't have to prove to anyone but me that I saw them, and I didn't want to be an obnoxious ass and interrupt their convention, especially since I don't know them and they don't know me. I think it's pretty fucktarded to go to a convention just to take pictures of people you don't know if said people aren't wearing costumes/camwhoring.

No, the reason the panel was canceled was because staff fucking hates dealing with the newfags and the memefags. Case in point: if 4chan were the problem, Moot wouldn't be let in. It's the lamers shouting memes and doing a fucking Nazi salute that get 4chan in trouble. As staff, myself, let me tell you that there are staffers who are also Anonymous, and they were the ones that were the most irritated by the bad behavior.

but then i have a life outside 4chan and enjoyed hanging out with friends and taking pictures of nerds in costumes.
i honestly didn't even think to look for moot or snacks there, but i doubt seeing them would have mattered much at all.
