Just hanging out and taking it easy. Honestly, half the panels were either complete shit or just didn't hold my attention, though some showings were nice. So that left me unloading my paycheck in the dealers' room, photographing "good" cosplay (in b4 obvious oxymoron), wading through five metric tons of Naruto "art", and talking with complete strangers, in hopes of finding someone who wasn't an idiot (actually fulfilled, surprised me) .

the rave, i LOVED the rave...is it bad that i loved the rave? i had a fucking awesome time even though we had to leave super earlier. i couldnt really dance because my ankle hurt so bad (i twisted it the first day before we even reached the line and i could barely walk on it the entire weekend, hurt the fucking hell, not that anyone cares) but i had an awesome time being stalked by Gin during the rave and on sunday...i was running for my fucking life on a nearly broken ankle...go me...actually it kinda sucked, when youre running/limping desperately and screaming for help and no one will help you...thats when you know youre worthless...THAT was the best part...there ya go...

When the Touhou panel was cancelled and nobody knew about it. Some fag tried to fill the slot with some "Anime Psychology" bullshit panel. The ENTIRE audience was there for Touhou and heckled him to shit, demanding hot vampire lolis and driving the guy nuts.

That was also the worst part of Otakon, actually, since I genuinely wanted to learn more about Touhou.

The best part was the party that went on in my hotel room and the Shinsengumi panel. There was this cute pink-haired girl who was dressed like an Organization XIII member that I talked to; she'd laugh at my jokes and even chose to walk with my group, but didn't want to go to the dealer's room, since she had on these platform boots.

I was complaining about how I never get the figurines I want in those little cardboard boxes, and a nice girl standing nearby said she always gets the right one. So she picked one out for me and IT WAS EXACTLY THE ONE I WANTED HOLY FUCK.

A feeling of unbelievable achievement washed over me. Now I wish I'd stuck around and talked to her more after that, but I had friends waiting, so I thanked her and left.

Best part of the con for me was when I got to witness this little Asian dude getting kicked out of the con. I guess he can't come back for two years.

Got Kappei's autograph, I got a cel from one of my favorite scenes from Tenchi Muyo, which was my first anime, and I heard Masami Okui live... really hard to top that.

Saturday was the beat day for me by a mile.
