It's a pretty good show. I really enjoy the references to metal bands in the show. Like Mr. Gojira's driving school, or dimmu burger, and let's not forget the grocery store in the first episode is called "fintroll's".

Each member of the band is based off actual metal musicians appearances. This pic was Pickles original design which they later changed up a bit to give him the dreadlock combover and different beard.

Also worth checking out is Brendan Smalls own album he put out last year. He worked on it with most of the guys that help him make the full Dethklok songs for the albums.

Its pretty awesome and different enough from Metalocolypse to be his own thing. I love his regular singing voice. Dr.Rocksos singing voice and Pickles singing voice are basically how Brendan Small sings. Its great.

I wouldn't say that the Trail of Tears is greater than the totality of all the racism dealt to blacks over the years. I mean, make no bones about it: being a slave in the American South at any point between the colonial period to the Emancipation was absolutely brutal.
