It's such a collosal fuckup. The storyboards are right there in the comics. All they had to do was take one of them and put them on the screen and everyone would have been happy - the fans , as well as people who've never read punisher, because they're fucking great , well-written stories.

Also, needed more dune-style voiceovers from Frank. That shit made the comics what they were.

I THINK A STRAIGHT ADAPTATION OF THE COMICS WOULD HAVE WORKED BETTER AS A SERIES.

MAYBE YOU COULD MASH THE THREE O'BRIEN ARCS TOGETHER TO MAKE A MOVIE, BUT I DON'T THINK ANY OF THE OTHERS WOULD STRETCH TO TWO HOURS.

They should've just adapted In the Beggining and come up with a sequel based on Up is Down and Black is White. Other elements, events and character from other arcs could be added in some sort of way, if they wanted to have more antagonists besides Rawlins and Cavella.

At least that's what I'd do if I was in charge of this production. Sounds about right to me.
