Human rights do not entail, require or
demand God, regardless of what the founding fathers believed. The
founding fathers of America are not gods and they are not kings. We
were not intended to follow them, but rather the Constitution. The
Constitution mandates that Church and State be separate. The rights of
humans should be entirely independent from any and all religious
considerations. |
