FUCK THIS. /co/, We need to stand. NO, all of anonymous NEEDS TO BE HEARD.

We need Toonami, not as it has been, but as it ONCE WAS.

Someone make a petition, I swear that I will repost it everywhere on the net until we get a good Toonami block back on Cartoon Network.

It's never coming back. It will never be as good as it used to be.

Tastes have changed since then, whether we like it or not. Instead of bringing it back, what we need is a DVD of the promos and Total Immersion "movies."

Wouldn't work. Doesn't Toonami have that "nothing pre 2000" can be shown rule? It like, went into effect as soon as we hit the new year.

Now I think they've even uped it more...

/Co/mrades, rise! Let your voice be heard, let Cartoon Network know that we will not stand for Tom to be taken from us, that he must be restored to his former glory!

No, you shut up. It's over. The golden age of Toonami can never be replicated. It was one of a kind.

It's time... to move on. Let Tom have his sleep eternal.
    >> Anonymous 09/21/08(Sun)00:50 No.5910336
We're outside of their target audience. They do not care what we think. They will never care what we think. There's some small chance Adult Swim would listen, but since they seem to enjoy pissing off their audience I doubt even that would work.

Toonami is dead. Keep your memories, they at least can't take those away. But move on.

Never gonna happen. We simply aren't the demographic they're after. You can still relive the glory days though. There are clips online, the Bass soundtrack is on megaupload, and you can watch streaming video at http://www.mogulus.com/toonamichannel

Maybe not as good as the real thing, but its something. Just keep the spirit of Toonami forever in your heart. Its what Tom would've wanted.
    >> Anonymous 09/21/08(Sun)00:51 No.5910344
    What good's a petition? They're a dime a dozen these days.

Face it, we have a bold new future to look at.

/co/, we can change things on our own.

You know that project you've been thinking about? Do it. You know that profile you have for that comic company? Send it. Start animating that great idea for a show.

He died to give us the opportunity to change things. And we need to change things. For our children, and the children after them.

I never watched Toonami, but you guys' devotion to a programming block is kind of endearing. It's also kind of lame.

Toonami should have been laid to rest long ago.

It went out like a tired old man when it should have ended right at the decline.

I didn't even realize they planned to end it tonight. I've barely watched it since the latest changes to Tom. But it was really odd, I turned it on randomly to watch the final moments of a cartoon block I always felt was kind of my cartoon alma mater.

Toonami did a lot of great things for me from when it started, and I'm sad to know it's gone. I just wish it had gone with slightly more dignity.
