Yup, I hate it when companies do that. One thing I was think of doing if I ever got my own fetish studio was offering regular and premium versions of videos. Regular would just be the straight tickling and thats it. Premium would should the pre shoot, on screen tying to avoid any suspicion of fake bondage, pre and post interviews, maybe a few extra stuff.

I really want to open my own studio but I'd need the following:

- A place to film. one that looks professional enough, not that "on location" stuff wouldn't be used.
-A good, hi def camera, maybe two for different angles
-Loads of equipment. mostly restraints, straitjackets aren't used nearly enough.
-Girls (I wouldn't even know where to begin to get them, how much I should ask pay them. I would defeinetly want a good mix up, blondes, redheads, asian, black ect. And course types, as in geeky, cheerleader, milfs, mature (but still with good looking feet)

I know it might seem silly. But if I ever did get the means to open my own studio it would be the best among them. I've seen a lot of videos in my time I know what makes a good video and what makes for a shitty one. For example if its a foot tickling video you should always try and have the soles of feet in the foreground for at least 50%-60% of the video. Getting the right angle is important too.

It involves putting in their username and some kind of webcode. I heard its so that if someone posts offensive content and then deletes it before the mods can get to it, they can still access it.

Satur1n's monetization plan catches flak. I don't know how effective MTJ's is; despite the apparent hate here, MTJ is still around, so it might be viable, but they're a publisher, not an artist.

What sort of payment/support options would realistically work for both artists and fans?

1) A PayPal donate button with art given away for free?
2) Having a fixed donation unlock price? E.g., if $100 total is donated, from any number of sources, a piece gets posted?
3) Having a priority queue, where which art gets drawn next is determined by which piece has the most monetary votes per donations?
4) Other shit I haven't thought of.

Some people will always balk at the involvement of money, but which compromises work best?

I've read stuff from popular webcomic artists (e.g. Weiner from SMBC) about how they make their money, and it seems like advertisement alone doesn't really cut it for a lot of them. They supplement it with shit like merchandise, which I doubt will be as much of an option for fetish artists. No one in their right mind will walk around in a shirt broadcasting their fetish.

On the other hand, if they tried selling prints or shirts/etc. with non-fetish art to their fetish supporters, would that work? Ozzy's* non-fetish run didn't seem that hot, but then again, he tried full-on turning his back on his past roots/supporters, by halting the fetish stuff and trying to go mainstream. What I'm wondering about here is if an artist sold non-fetish pieces of (perhaps?) fetish characters or just general art, without abandoning the stuff that made people give a shit about their work to begin with.

He is asking money for work he was commissioned, part of the commission is generally a specification of whether the work should be sent privately or distributed openly. If someone commissioned him a work and asked for a wide-audience display and he has taken it down and is CHARGING MONEY for it, that is certainly worth a ban from deviantart.
