I agree. I almost yelled at me TV when I realized what was going on with Tenchi...they aired the last episode of the last OVA. It doesn't even make much sense if you've seen the rest of that OVA.

I'm assuming there's legal issues with Pioneer's dub of OVA 1 and 2, hence why they're pimping set 3.

The Pioneer dub was generally better, yes.

You have to remember, the third OVA was dubbed years after the other Tenchi shows, so the old voice actors were a bit out of practice (except for Sasami's, who uses her actual speaking voice for Sasami's voice).

Also: the Pioneer dub had Petrea Burchard doing Ryoko's voice, and that voice was FUCKING SEX ITSELF.
