It was actually meant to continue on past the movie... they combined a few of the episodes into Taking the Fifth Grade. Glad it never took off, though, because the animation and voices were just a bit above shit-tier.

Like how in the episode with Pharaoh Bob, he's upset because the kids on the playground don't remember any other kings -- "There were other kings besides Bob? Huh?" -- but in another episode, they all know about previous kings and are excited to find the rule book of King Morty.

I was always disappointed that my school's recess wasn't this entertaining. No king, no clubhouses... we did have a twirly slide with a bee's nest in it, though.
