There is nothing horrible about this show besides of the rage that it has caused here, I started watching it because I wanted to be mad, it is incredibly mediocre and dull, but it has some charm.

If it didn't have this animu style it would be ignored, the fact that Birch is a weeabo is barely touched, it centers more on just her life and her friends, it reminds me of Doug, a dumb main character that gets into trouble due to not thinking well.

One thing about this show, though that I can't really accurately put my finger on.

Is that, I can't really seem to think that anyone is really a token character.
There is a lot of diversity in this show, including ethnic and interest diversity.

But at the same time, and this is practically what puzzles me the most.
It doesn't exactly feel like the opposite side of the coin either.
That is, it doesn't feel like they forced themselves to portray all kinds of stuff at the same time, and relatively equally at that for that matter. Yet, it is still there.

If anything, it really reminds me of the school I had a part time job at some time back.
