See, the way John reacted like this, and also exactly like this with Dave, pretty much convinces me that he thinks of the two exactly the same. Which is to say, best friends.

Honestly I think that's better. It just makes sense that John is just best friends with the other three equally. That's how it has always been, that's why John interacting with any of the other human kids have always been the best.

It's like, with the birthdays. John has treated all three of his friends exactly the same. Why do so many people want PM to wear the ring? It really doesn't make much sense. All the story development has been aimed clearly toward WV putting it on.

I think that if Black and White were both playing a perfect game, White would probably win by virtue of having the first move, and thus claiming the one turn ahead of his opponent. I'm not exactly a grand master at chess, but I think that might be enough to make the difference. It does a lot for mobility and developing the board.

Gamzee and Tavros talked quite a fair bit about the clown religion during the rap-off. Less "talked" and more "vaguely referenced" but it was there, like conversation hooks that Gamzee can easily run with if he wanted to.
