2D used to be the main image of Gorillaz, but somewhere along the line that shifted... he used to be the focal point of the videos, too (Feel Good, Clint Eastwood, Tomorrow Comes Today etc) but he's much more in-the-background now.... wish he'd talk more, even in silly radio interviews like 2D&Muds used to do. He got less submissive and wimpy in phase 2 (standing up to Murdoc and all that), but he seems really wimpy again.
