I'd say the difference was Comic Dave loved his life as Kick-Ass while Movie Dave began to love his life as Dave.

Movie Dave gets a double KO with Red Mist in a sissy fight.
Comic Dave gets thugs to punch the fuck out of him so he can escape and then breaks a chair leg on red mists face.

Hurr durr if you hated the comic I don't see how you could still like the movie at all. The comic was fine unless you just felt betrayed when Hit Girl showed up and it wasn't going to be realistic. Another thing that is the fuckin' same in the movie so you should have hated the movie, too.

Personally I like both the movie and the comic, but liked the comic better.

the comic had more blood. and wasn't afraid of decapitation or blood and gore

the only strong gore i saw from movie would be the "head blowing up" scene, and the "leg dismemberment"

but thats it.

the comic had scalps cut off, heads cut off around half the bowl. more blood splatter and more sickening violence the creator promised.

but instead he gave us fanservice. :/

personally i don't hate the movie... but if you're going for better. the comic will always have the upper hand.

especially when everyone goes better than expected because people don't wanna see the "True" Endings
