Well, being physically different won't draw their attention, you have to screw up to do that. Yes it is horrible, most people don't make it once they become the duck. I got lucky because another guy was a bigger duck than me, because he didn't take showers regularly, and he was one of those who stink really badly if they haven't taken a shower after one day.

I call it that because you are basically a sitting duck while the people around you do their level best to make your life hell, the instructors aren't the only ones to do this mind you, because when one person screws up instructors like to punish the whole unit. That's when the unit starts getting angry at the one responsible for them having to do additional exercise, they then start doing things to that one person.
