Explain how comics and cartoons (the entire fucking medium, apparently) are similar at all to the blatant rehashing bullshit that has been going on with the Pokemon series for over 10 years now.

Maybe stuff like The Simpsons and how most Western cartoons are comedies?

Comics, uh, most of it is Superheroes and there's "reboots" so that's a rehash maybe. You get the core concepts of comics and cartoons but with a different coat of paint, which one could argue is Similar to Pokemon rehashing.

    1) What are the main differences between Gold and HeartGold (besides 3D graphics)?

    2) Is it worth buying HeartGold, or should I stick with emulating Gold?

Lots of new features, pokemon, updates graphics. you don't grow berries anymore, they just get sent to you (not too sure on that). New sidequests, I think a lot of things have been balanced too.

a lot more Pokemon and a lot better game play

the story changed just a little bit but if you want to re-play gold its the way to go

More pokermans to train, nostalgia, a pedometer that you can train your pokemon with even when you dont have your DS with you, and a better battle system

Definitely worth buying the remake, but you may be off-put by the tutorial and hand-holding sections that have been added in since Gen 2 (apparently Pokemon wasn't an easy enough concept to begin with)

It's definitely a different game from Gold, but you'll nostalgia in most parts. The new additions/changes will be glaringly obvious though.

Complete overhaul. Changes female protagonist/friend. Remixed music (in my opinion, sounds better). PokeGear was redone. Introduces a subplot in the Team Rocket Executives. All 493 are capable of following behind you (first member in your party does this). Start menu stuff is all accessible via touch screen (very useful). Can catch Kyogre/Groudon, Rayquaza, Lati@s, can get Kanto/Hoenn starters. Everyone gets updated movesets.

And the rest is all graphical upgrades. All in all, I'd buy HG. It was a very fun game.

But there's no Vs Seeker and in game Pedometer, that I know of,(Which I find useful for egg hatching). Fuck you Vs. Recorder, I thought you were a Seeker.

A lot of the music sounded better, but some was just shit, like Goldenrod. Thank god for the GB Player you get in Celadon.
