Doctor Who Magazine made a point to point out the point that the crack in Amelia's wall looks like a smile. But The Eleventh hour never brings that up. Then, at the end of the episode, the same thing happens on the scanner, but is not explained, and ominous music plays.

Personality-wise, she's closer to Donna - she's even due to be married the day after she leaves with the Doctor, hence her insisting that he return her the morning after. There's romantic tension, because let's face it, there's ALWAYS romantic tension with NuWho companions, even if its one-sided such as in Mahfa's case. However, I doubt they'll be pushing her as THE ONE since Moffat decided back in season 4 that Eleventh Doctor/River Song is his OTP.
