Its generally easy to get a way with. When it comes to asian stereotypes there's the big two wimpy Asian with glasses and buck teeth and master martial artist. The first one can be easily defended as whats a racist asian stereotype put on any other race is just a geek stereotype.....so most creators probably just say its not racist its just nerdy. The second usually ends up on a fighting show....its a fighting show why can't he be a master martial artist etc. Also I think it has to do with the Asian community not being as prominent as the others make fun of latinos you're getting a bunch of angry letters make fun of Blacks and you're getting a fucking protest outside your door but make fun of asians there isn't even a representative to call.
