Naruto is a cool concept with a lot of potential in the lore and world setup, its just that the plot and characters(especially females) are poorly handled sometimes, and Kishimoto uses amateur literary devices to achieve emotional effects and portray ideas.

These are namely flashbacks to previously drawn panels and a lack thereof when he actually needs it. Also he uses verbal repetitions of ideals that are displayed with such a lack of subtlety that it feels hand fed. He doesn't use Chekov's Gun very well as he established a "bingo book" early on but never used it afterwards to reveal and list top class criminals and famous ninjas like Salamander Hanzo or Deidara. Plus his retcons are too obvious (shadow clones evenly transferring memory and chakra back to the host and other clones, the cursed seal originating from Jugo).

He does make very good use of flashbacks that are original though. Kakashi gaiden was one of the best parts of the series, and Danzo's backstory really cemented him as an enjoyable flawed character who started off kind of an obnoxious dick. When Kishimoto does a good job he really makes the series fun, exciting, and coherant.

No, Danzo's backstory was a hamfisted way of trying to gain sympathy for a character who was no more than a dickish minor antagonist. Apparently no one in Naruto can die without having been shown to have a sympathetic side, barring Kisame.

Naruto is the worst offender of shounen archetypes and is completely uninspired, trite bullshit that continues to glorify Kishimoto's self-insert at every turn. It should've stopped at the bridge arc.

I think the concept had potential because of its military, social, and magic setup. But you're right, its delivered too generically. Shit like "My dad believes in me! and "I'm gonna be the Hokage", or "THATS MY NINJA WAY" or the 500 and one times Kishimoto has tried to compete with Kingdom Hearts over the use of the word darkness lately are all very generic and disgusting.

But anyhow, to stay on point Naruto uses too many unecessary generic shounen manga tropes that ruins its overall concept, and HEROMAN appears to follow the same old formula just in the way its portrayed visually which means it probably wont be that different from other shows like it, regardless of Stanlee's input.

HOPEFULLY we will be pleasantly disproven, but lets not hope too much less we fall in a "sonic cycle"

I will say that the animation looks relevant to my interests.
Stan Lee is somehow involved, so that at least gets at least some mild interest from me.

The uchiha were treated like second class citizens for a generation or two which stirred up bad feelings in them. They were wrong to rebel, but the Konoha officials didn't exactly try to formally work something out. Sasuke basically didn't like how Konoha's leaders handled the situation, and Itachi died to save their asses. Well, really he died to save everyone else, I don't think he liked Danzo. But Sasuke basically saw his death as saving the lives of officials who did not deserve his services. And he figures if he kills off Konoha for doing a bad job and being underhanded in their operations then he can clear his family's name.

Basically Sasuke is disgusted with ninja politics as a whole (history written in the shadows and backdoor deals all over the place that get people killed), and is taking it out on Konoha because their politics caused him to lose his family for their sake. Plus his brother ended up being so awesome and tragic to him when he found out the truth that it only compounded the feelings.

Sasuke is certainly out of his mind but at least on some level I can empathize with how he feels, and thats whats important for the character to work. Deidara was clearly evil and wrong and self absorbed, but we felt for his love of his art and his desire and determination to overcome sharingan so we liked him.
