The city of Glie is a place in Limbo. And so is Gloomsville.

This girl here is a haibane. Her original body has already perished, whereas the haibane is her spirit body. The city of Glie is the stopping point before souls enter the next life.

Gloomsville acts as a conduit between Limbo and the real world, which is why Skullboy, Booboo and the other memebrs of the dead can mingle here. Glie is a similar conduit, but between Limbo and the Next Life.

This girl has to return to her city, otherwise she will forfeit her chance at entering the next life.
