There have been a lot of pictures of FKMTs with strawberries lately on pixiv. I wonder why?

Does anyone have chapter two of the first volume of Tobaku Mokushiroku Kaiji and if they do, could they perhaps upload it?

Why do people want a second Akagi season? The manga is still at the Washizu arc, so Madhouse would have to make shit up. Isn't Ten good enough?

Also, sometimes I feel that Ichijou wouldn't be half as popular if he wasn't somewhat pretty. Only good thing about him is the (manga only) scene where he plants a bugging device on Kaiji's back. That was great.

I think Ichijou has been the best antagonist in Kaiji, his motives were a bit derpy(the vault thing) but he is kind of like Kaiji. I guess it was easy to sympathize with him because he actually worked hard to get that position and it would be interesting to see his story "from his point of view" as in him being the protagonist in his own series.

Well, I'm one of the people who wants Akagi S2, and I do know what is going on in the manga. I'd love to see Ten, or Pen-chan, or Gin to Kin, or any other Fukumoto properties animated, of course. But I love Akagi, I love mahjong, and I am hugely entertained by Washizu as an antagonist. Of course, I don't want them to do it until the Washizu match is actually finished.

As for Ichijou, I like him, but I don't really feel the need to see more of him. I suppose Fukumoto could give the right to do an Ichijou property to another mangaka like he did with Hero and Young Washizu, but he's got so much on his plate right now I don't see him tackling it himself.

This is why I personally liked Ichijou so much. His inner dialogue often parallels Kaiji's, too, especially when he gets desperate. Ichijou is a smooth operator but has plenty of freak out moments that make him more relatable than, say, Tonegawa (and in the end I felt sorry for Tonegawa too).
I think that given that the bog is such an impersonal challenge, it being a machine and all, Ichijou's reactions add more of a human element ot the arc.

Given Kazuya's popularity, I doubt Ichijou's looks have that much to do with his either. Anyhow, agreeing with earlier anons about him, and I'd much rather see some of the other manga getting adapted than watching another 26 episodes of (dragged) mahjong because that's what both Akagi S2 and Kaiji S3 would be about.

Mahjong is easy. With only a couple exceptions, you want to make 4 sets of 3 and a pair. The sets of 3 can be either sequential (1-2-3) or all the same (3-3-3). You get more points for making more difficult hands, which are pretty easy to intuit after you play a couple of hands. For Minefield Mahjong, there's a limited number of hands that you should be familiar with, and I think the current scanlators even put together that information for the readers.

Seriously, just fool around with http://www.gamedesign.jp/flash/mahjong/mahjong_e.html for a while and remember, 4 sets of 3 and a pair, and don't call chii or pon on anything. Once you get comfortable with that, you can scroll down and start learning the different types of hands and dora and when to call chii or pon and all that fun stuff.

RUDE39 is one that I've been interested in for a while, being that it came out in 1999 (which would place it around the time the first part of Kaiji was ending). It's based on pachinko, too, and I'm curious as to see how he'd handle it outside of the Bog.
