Publix is the best goddamn grocery store on the face of the planet. Today, the store was busy with Christmas/Hanukkah shoppers, and they were all out of the decent-priced pecan halves. A stock boy saw me standing there looking a bit frustrated. He asked if he could help, heard me out, went to the back of store and came back with a HUGE bag of pecans. He said he'd tell customer service to sell them to me for the price of the sold-out discounted pecans. TWO DOLLARS CHEAPER for 4 times as many pecans.

Nobody beats Publix when it comes to customer service. Sure, their prices can get a bit steep, but I don't mind spending that money when they promise to treat their customers so well.
