    Halp /ck/,

I just applied for food stamps, and will probably get them. I'll be getting roughly thirty dollars a week for food. I have a local chain supermarket within walking distance(1.4 miles). I'm only making about 750 dollars a month right now which is just enough to cover my bills(my thermostat is at 57 degrees and I turned off my electric water heater to save money) and noodles.

My challenge for you is to come up with a meal plan for thirty-five american dollars a week. I'm competent in the kitchen. I plan on baking my own bread, corn tortillas, and soda crackers/hardtack. I also plan on slow cooking cheap cuts of meat and maybe making hard cider(I can buy juice and yeast, but not booze.)

pic related, it's what the foodstamp card looks like. Also, my zip code is 49464 and there is Family Fare, Meijer, Aldi, and Save-a-lot stores that accept the card.

Black beans and rice with chicken/spices/hotsauce, make a lot in advance and reheat for meals.

Pasta dish with squash, peas, and butter/lemon sauce.

All I got off the top of my head, but those are my "$3 meal night" recipes.

35 bucks a week eh? simple.

Meijer has hamburger on sale 1.65 a pound right now. Pick up some Pasta too, the carbs are quick energy.

I assume you have spices? without spices you'll really need to go take the money and invest in some.

Also eat a big early lunch 11:30 is the best, that way you digest and have all your energy during the day at night eat a leftover.

Assuming you have spices and condiments here we go.

    Day one.
Pork Ramen (saute onions with pork add tomato base and spices add cooked ramen) should be a spicy asian flavor

    Day two-
Hamburger and Egg noodles (a Cheap mans strogenoff)

    Day Three
Stirfried vegies and pork with ramen

    Day four
Beef Bolognese and pasta serve with homemade garlic toast

    Day five
    suffer you fat fucking bitch

    Day 6
    Corn+potatoes+hamburger gravy

    Day 7
Left over stew take your uncooked meats and braise in water, wine, juice, tomatoes, whatever you have. Add some vegies you did buy a ten pound bag of Potatoes for 1.99 right? cook and enjoy
