Howdy, /ck/!

The other day, I was making breakfast, so I decided to bust out the scrambled eggs.
I also added some cheddar cheese once the eggs were close.

Then, I had a sudden realization and added sausage to the mix. Shit was delish.

So I ask you. Have there been times where you threw something together and it turned out good, even if it wasn't traditionally thought of going together?
>>
Oh yeah all the time

I was putting this grain-stuff in a bowl I think it was called cereal, then I decided to bust out the milk. It was way better than I imagined
>>
I say this as non-sarcastically as possible:

Congratulations, OP; you've discovered cooking.
>>
Howdy OP you lying sack of shit. Unless the sausage was pre-cooked through some "coincidence". You can't throw sausage in at the end. Anyhow congratulation on the new recipe.

>sausage and cheddar cheese in scrambled eggs
>not traditionally thought of going together

I'm glad you're discovering how to cook more adventurously OP, but come on.

It was leftover sausage.
>>3927078
I usually only had scrambled eggs plain. I just never thought to experiment.

Yes, yes I have. However, I don't see how eggs, cheese, and sausage isn't a norm in western breakfast.

>vanilla chai tea + vanilla almond milk
>>
I find Indian sauces go really well with pasta
>>
I can't eat eggs right now. But next week? Breakfast for dinner every day.
>>
Diced chicken w/ Sriracha.
>>
rofl wow OP you really got crazy there! who'da thunkit....damn i wonder how plain your meals must be if you never thought of that before, but yeah it is good...even better when you throw fried potatoes and a few squirts of hot sauce.
>>
>>3927005 (OP)
>it wasn't traditionally thought of going together
eggs, cheese, and sausage. How is that not a traditional pairing? I'm sorry, but adding sausage to eggs is not a radically new thing you've discovered...
>>
What part of the world do you live in OP? Sausage and eggs are almost always served together in the southern US. Throw in some hashbrowns and you'll have an orgasm.
>>
>>3927005 (OP)
add in some bell pepper, and green onions. maybe some hash browns too

then you have a normal breakfast from dennys!
>>
Ketchup and mac 'n cheese is semi-unusual.

Waffles and ice cream is fuckin' delicious, but so is chicken 'n waffles. I highly recommend it if you haven't had it, and even if you have, you should probably eat some.
>>
I once mixed orange juice and egg for making french toast, was great.

I then had some leftover egg/orange juice mix, and decided to just make scrambled eggs with that, was decent.

>Waffles and ice cream

I can't recall where in the hell I got this idea from but I tried it a long time ago and I loved it. But ice cream is my favorite food regardless.

>Dairy Queen
>Banana cream pie Blizzard
>fries
>dip the fries in that motherfucker

Again, don't remember where in the hell I got that from, but I know it wasn't an '<anon> original'

I digress. I sometimes put syrup on my mashed potatoes and that shit is bangin.
