Official 4chan Chrome Extension updated for new HTML! Comes with a bunch of new features including post filtering and text buttons. More features to be rolled out later this week. The new extension runs orders of a magnitude faster on large threads.
Download it here!

After nearly a decade, we've rewritten our HTML/CSS from scratch and are now running on that new code. 4chan now validates HTML5/CSS3, and with a few other tweaks we've made, pages should be loading faster than ever. The design should be 100% the same too—if you notice any wonkiness, please make sure you're using a modern browser (something from the past year). Also, try clearing your cache.

Along with the new HTML comes two new big features: a mobile-optimized layout for phones so you can browse 4chan on the go, and inline extension features.

We've built what we think are the most popular extension additions directly into the site. To toggle them on and off, click "[Settings]" in the upper-right or bottom-right of the page. These features are: Quick reply, inline image expansion, post previews (for current thread only, we will make it global soon), backlinking (see who replied to a post), and enable a new drop-down style navigation. If you'd like the other features that the Chrome extension offers, grab it here.

Please report bugs to newhtml@4chan.org. Note if you are using an old browser, that is probably why you're experiencing bugs. Please include your OS and browser + version when reporting a bug.

Currently inhabited with one more generation of hipster bums. Not sure i want to go there for pho it's not what that streets supposed to be about for me. Everyone ends up hating vancouver eventually.

Yet to eat today. It's not even 10AM yet.
I have some leftovers of varying kinds. Let's see...
There's zucchini sauce for pasta, some stewed chickpeas (also for pasta), tofu stewed in spicy kimchi and pork, coconut and galanga broth (just the broth: nothing else in it), some guac and an oven-baked asparagus dish, all made by me here at home.
I'll likely nibble on a piece of the asparagus thing soon enough while decideding what to actually have.

I'm thrilled to discuss my meals and post original content, I just HATE this macro of idiocy. Change it.

The texture of durian is similar to very ripe mango and that of jackfruit to a ripe (not not over ripe) one. They both can vary into the others' realm of firmness.

The perks of working in a restaurant include making your own restaurant quality meal for lunch everyday.

The cons: I'm going to get fucking fat if I eat lunch every day.

It's bacon and curry fried onions on a bed of arugula on a toasted potato roll, with a pesto aioli. Also some tabbouleh and leftover fries from in the window.

sadly yes.

/ck/ is a warzone. Trying to moderate the hatred is basically impossible; the small handful of people spreading it are determined and use proxies and IP changes, there's virtually no traction.

I post helpful stuff where I can, but for this thread - I haven't eaten too much today. Just a can of split pea and ham soup, it's nothing I would write home about.

As much as it runs counter to what the trolls have to say, I post when I can add to conversations...

Brunch - pasta with deli meat tomato based sauce

random chocolate and fruit and shit like that.

Just had this for breakfast.

Tilapia filet season with salt/pepper/lemon. Sliced some bella shrooms in there.

Served it on ginger seasoned rice with a cup of hot tea. Probably the best I've made so far. Very moist and only a hint of fishiness, which actually tasted pleasant.

Forgot I had scallions, will probably toss those in there next time. I have about 4-5 filets of tilapia left and a few pounds of haddock. Any ideas? Don't know much about cooking fish.

Weird, that pic doesn't have my chilli plants in it but yeah, I started growing some cheyenne pepper plants a few weeks back, they're looking rather spritely, gonna have to try not to just eat some peppers straight off the plant when they grow, heh.

'haricots' were canned so whatevs
>>
>>3611569

not the poster but you use vinegar in the water so the white stays in shape, its chemistry magic
>>
>>3611569

Well it coagulates the white. It also adds a subtle taste of vinegar aswell...
>>
>>3611608
Heh, thanks

Been moving towards more a fresh healthy diet, i want my man juice to taste sweeter, so I made a vegetable soup. Though I know eating onions and garlic is not going to help but mainly I'm reducing my meats and increasing fruits and veggies

Carmelized an onion diced, in EVOO with 4 cloves of garlic (whole), mustard seeds, some salt and black pepper 1 tsp green chutney, add chutney towards the end of carmelization. Then about 1 qt water, another onion (small), half a green pepper, 2 broccoli stalks 1 broccoli head, and about a cup of string beans. Nothing canned. 1 cube chicken bullion, a pinch of salt, a couple whole black peppercorns, some bay leaves and about a tsp of celery seed.

Dinner: angel hair aldante, reduce/warm 1tsp basil, 1/2ts oregano, 1/4 tsp sage, lemon juice, a 1tsp butter, salt/pepper, red wine vinegar (tried balsamic but red wine is better) and 1/4 cubed sun dried red pepper(canned) add some juice gives a nice taste too. Mix in reduction with pasta. Also made with rosotto but angel hair is the best in mho

Looks great

Aww... the pic didn't turn out...

Anyways I made some weird shit with spinach/ricotta pasta, spicy vegetables from a jar preserved with vinegar, some eggplant/red pepper mix in a jar, and 2tbsp pasta sauce.

Crunchy and good, kind of a pickled taste. I can feel the gas working its way down my intestines already.

Should not have eaten the whole bowl.

Made Mango sorbet today, as well.

That looks really depressing.

Raw fish: NZ Tarakihi fish seasoned with chili and a few pinches of salt.
Soy sauce on the side to dip into.
Salad: composed of tomato, cucumber and onions seasoned with pepper and dressed with vinegar and olive oil.
Tim Tam's for desert.

I'm positive I used a lot of terminology wrong (first time /ck/ poster).
>tfw sashimi cost me $5 to prepare a good quantity.

I'm still a new/shitty cook, so I'm still working up my skills.

But I cooked for the band after practice. I made some chicken cutlets with loads of garlic, served with the rice/lentil/veggie slop mix I made on thursday (pic related). They loved it! Felt super proud, but also super hungry. So I ate all the extra garlic and chicken, and slammed several cheap beers.

Instilled some confidence in my cooking, and now I'm pumped to try new things. And I owe it mainly to lurking /ck/, so thanks guys!
