coffee is bad enough. Adding any off flavors shouldn't improve it. I
think there's probably some validity that reconstituting coffee doesn't
require wicked sterilizing temperatures, just warmth. I usually
microwave milk to steaming hot 1.5 mins, not boiling, and add that to
coffee and sugar in the bottom of my mug. Making a latte, with the
creaminess of milk, seems to ignore the negative bitter or off flavors
of instant coffee. Also, I buy cuban or italian instant espresso
ideally. Barring that, publix instant is minus all bad flavors,
amazingly. But, all instant coffee has air as the enemy, so seal it
well, open and close it quickly, and don't buy quantities beyond what
you would use quickly, once opened. |
