If you're clever about it, you can start one on /a/. And there's a weekly artdump by a tripfag I don't remember the name of. You can try searching it in the archive, they've been archiving images since January.
Best way to start a scenery thread on /a/: Post your best picture with only the words 'more like this' and then proceed to dump until other people join you. Best time is nighttime to afternoon /a/.

Nope. I said I don't have a beach house. And I still haven't set foot on a beach in years. Though I do get to look at oil refineries at night. Dem twinkly yellow and white lights with the occasional splashes of red.

Perhaps going to a place like Ladakh will get one stars and lakes. Or New Zealand for beaches and stars.
