to be honest that sort of thing hasn't happened at the store I'm working at now. It has happened in the past where people I work for are clearly alcoholics. In those situations if they were drunk at work they were sent home at another place I worked at the dud would do a six pack at work everyday(we were allowed to drink on the job) he was fired.

Did you know that there's a part of your liver that only processes alcohol? Humans have co-existed with booze for thousands and thousands of years; in fact beer is literally the reason for civilization as we know it: to grow enough food to feed yourself is easy to to have enough that you can eat AND have enough left over to brew? That takes communal action. The first human groups larger than hunter/gatherer tribes were agricultural and based around brewing.

You're hating an aspect of humanity as intrinsic as language.
    >> Anonymous 01/24/11(Mon)23:15 No.2539940
OP, I have seen "about wine" articles that say if you open a bottle of wine and it's corked, you should bring it back to the store.

I, being an extreme beta, would never do this, and it honestly seems highly doubtful that any store would accept this.

    What are your comments?

It happens a lot. Corked wines are something like 1 in 30 or so, not totally sure of the numbers. If you open a bottle of wine and its bad bring it back the wholesalers give the store credit and you get another bottle of wine that is good. Don't settle if the wine is corked just bring it back minus the glass you poured discovering it was bad.
