When I hit the buffet sometimes I will eat roasted potatoes and pizza. The best thing they have though is chicken and mushrooms in a sauce.

As much as I love chinese food (and this >>1273343 is true). And it's not similar across the board at all... I can go to 5 different Chinese restaurants in my own small town and get 5 different flavors from the exact same titled dishes.

That said, I like General Tso's chicken, Pork Fried Rice, Chicken Lo Mein, and many many more. I'll eat all of it.
    >> Anonymous 10/11/09(Sun)18:27 No.1273452
keep it simple: sweet & sour pork on some chicken chow-mein.

if this combo doesn't give you a boner, you need to find a new chinese food joint.
    >> Anonymous 10/11/09(Sun)18:38 No.1273474
I do love General Tso's chicken, anything w/garlic sauce, chow fun, and Chinese roasted pork.

    Yet, I also love dim sum the most. There's nothing more satisfying than going out at like 10am and getting dim sum with a bunch of friends. I did that for my birthday w/my friends this year. It was so awesome. ;____;
    >> Anonymous 10/11/09(Sun)18:45 No.1273489
I really dig Mongolian beef. But, my favorite would have to be pork fried rice. Sweet and sour chicken, depending on the place can be moutgasm worthy as well, though.

General Tso's chicken, chicken and broccoli, lo mein, crab rangoon, steak in whatever sauce that is. I forget since I haven't had Chinese food in months.

Chinese donuts are godly. So is rat on a stick (chicken teriyaki)... especially when dipped in General's sauce.

The Chinese place we have in my little podunk town serves this awesome cheesy potato casserole on the buffet. It's incredibly delicious and probably incredibly full of butter. But who cares? It's a Chinese buffet!

There's this thai place near campus that makes a great cabbage, carrot and chicken salad thing.

Man I wish I could afford to eat out at the moment.

    Dim sum is best.
    >> Anonymous 10/11/09(Sun)22:31 No.1273905
My local place has a special called "Sweet and Sour Triple Delight", which is a combo of Sweet and Sour Chicken, Pork, and Shrimp, then they give a shit ton of Fried Rice, an egg roll, and a crab rangoon.

If you call during lunch, you get it all for like 5 bucks, any other time it's like 8 bucks. Still a good deal, either way. Half the times you can't finish it, so you get cold Chinese for breakfast, which is fucking epic win!

pic related. My mother and I tried making them once. Turned out decently.

If there's one thing I pigged out on on my trip to china, it was these things. My grandma could make these things effortlessly.

There are specific Chinese variants on sushi, just like Japan has their own twists of Chinese food or how like every Asian country has their own curry, despite it being Indian.

I am a total whore for chow fun, be it chicken, pork or beef.
