So I see steak threads and ramen threads galore:

What about chicken wings? How does /ck/ like their wings? Any recipes appreciated.

Wing Stop is pretty good but way overpriced compared to better wing joints around here.

Oh lawd, I loves me some chicken wings!

I've just never been able to make them very well. I've always used a baking sheet in the oven, because I try to not deep fat fry them. (Though, I suppose this probably is the best method, isn't it?)

Do you think that if I use a wire rack to cook them on, they'd be less gooey? :(

The wing stop wings are so perfectly crispy and flavored. I love them. If you go try the cajun or very spicy. They have very good sides too.

Oven baked wings are always gooey unless you cook the shit out of them. Cook first then spin in sauce helps a little. Alternately, try dry spice rubs instead of sauce before cooking.

They are tasty, but the absolute biggest rip-off in the food industry.

dust the wings in corn starch and then bake them on a rack, toss in a bowl with sauce afterwards

    Cool, any more recipes?

I'd like to dust 'em with curry powder pre-fry or bake, anyone else got similar condiments? I've also had these BBQ'd after they'd been sitting in a marinade for half a day; lemongrass and thyme.

Yah, I love the mild boneless wings there. I'm pretty much a pussy when it comes to some of their hotter stuff.

the secret is to inhale that stuff (blazin), dont even chew...of course that takes out all the purpose of eating wings, unless you're doing the wing challenge
