 I've
never played a dating sim before, and I'm not sure I'll need nor want
one after this game. Katawa Shoujo has, most ironically (considering
the background story of the protagonist), left me heart-broken. I
like all the characters so much, I'm especially sympathetic to Shizune;
I listen to music continuously and compulsively, I'd feel so awful
being around a person who couldn't hear, and on top of that I love that
she's an all-business tsundere without any of the cartoony,
unbelievable violent quirks tsunderes usually have. I also love that the really weird girl (Rin) is also the artist, if I had a choice of the girls irl, I'd go with her.
I just remembered how one of my favorite songs is A Song For The Deaf; this game is going to rend my heart asunder. |
