Still, I don't think we need to be extra cautious here. Being excited about the revival of the franchise is acceptable. I'm sure they won't deliver mediocrity.

Well, of course the fact that they'll officially deliver anything expanding the OD universe will spark rumours, and until I see an official announcement of a new animated series, I will take those rumours as what they are; but you have to admit things are looking pretty good. I mean, most of us wanted them to do something -anything- new with the franchise, but we weren't hopeful. At least I wasn't. No matter how I look at it, this is great news. This could mean a new series is coming, but if that doesn't happen, I'm happy enough.

Little girls watch this kind of anime and I guess they read this kind of literature, and many grown women who were little girls when the show aired will be interested in it (I know this because many adult women said they were excited when they announced the live action Sailor Moon series), but neither little girls nor nostalgic women are the bulk of the target demographic when it comes to mahou shoujo.

I disagree. TV ratings, the sponsors of the morning shows, and the multitude of products aimed at little girls say otherwise. While magical girl shows are popular over there among the otaku, the target audience is still young girls. Crazy collectors may be good and loyal consumers, but kids nagging parents to buy stuff for them is much more profitable.

Speaking of insane kids wanting to date Aiko, I wonder how they're going to deal with the 50+ classmates in any possible continuation. The most important ones will certainly appear in the novel (Kotake, Yada, Reika), but the rest have tons of potential as well. There's plenty of interesting classmates who I really hope to see return. even if it's just a cameo.

Naisho is very standalone, and I watched it while only halfway through season 1. You could even watch it before season 1, since it's kinda common knowledge that Pop, Onpu, and Momoko enter the fray and join the original 3, and that Hana exists. Depends on if you call their existance and roles "spoilers" or not. It takes place during Motto, but was made after Dokkan.

Her "ears" look like the plastic triangles I used to use for architectural/engineering drawings.
The hole was for hanging them up. The beveled edge allowed you to draw a straight line without the ink bleeding into the paper.

4 Motto! episodes fit neatly on a CD and I saved the entire series.
But the 1st 4 Dokkaan! occupy 706 MB and that's a _little_ too much.
I appreciate high resolution as much as the next fan, but you're ruining my "system".
