So i want to get into watching the animu, but I dislike torrenting episodes and watching them on the computer.

Are there any channels I could get that exclusively air animu in the U.S.? I've heard of animax, but I don't know if you can get that here.

Well I have Timewarner cable and get Anime Network on my On Demand but other than that my cousin just Netflixes the dvds.

    step 2; burn to DVD
step 3; buy DVD player that plays any file formate

Now try answering his second criteria of not having to torrent it.

down load not torrent. aka direct down load.

anyway it is only a suggestion, it is what I do when I feel like using the big screen rather than the PC monitor. Plus blank CD and DVD are cheep now.

a DVD player with USB would be nice though...

Yes, there is a channel that exclusively air anime in the US and that is the Funimation Channel. Sadly it's only available mostly in New York City and Los Angeles via digital TV OTA (Over the Air).

As for Animax, don't hold your breath. It will never come to America. So your only option is by streaming media.

sage because the thread is off-topic
