This is my favorite armored Saber and unfortunately it is not cannon:(

by someone who actually bothered to look up some late midieval and
Rennassance armor. And notice, NO BOOBS. They only ever were on
theatrical armor made much later.
The difference in shape
between mens and womens armor back then was in the waist, not the
chest. The waist was narrowed so that the weight would be carried more
on the womans hips and offload her narrower shoulders. Since the normal
support garment of the period, the corset, could not be worn with the
armor, the brestplate had to takes it place. And a boob bulge would
have defeated that purpose, giving them too much room to flop around,
as well as ruining the ballistic shape of the armor.
Very late
"bulletproof" armors had somwhat bulged brestplates but the crest of
the bulge ran up and down the full length of the plate, not left and
right |
