conquering of the city. Invasions have been accomplished many, many,
many times in the history of humanity, and the fall of a single city to
savages is itself a theme that has repeated over and over. Saxons,
Teutons, the sack of Rome, the sacking and sacking and sacking of
Jerusalem, etc, ad infinitum. Savages tend to be successful in invasions
because people living in civilization tend to get soft. Kinda like
