Either way, he's ignoring many socio-economic factors that are keeping down not just blacks but the poor in general. Blacks are generally poor for the fact that they were discriminated against up until the 60s, and studies have shown quite definitively that socio-economic status of the parents are more likely passed down on children than height or weight.

The fact of the matter is, the whole "racism keeping black people down" thing isn't over yet. The reason you don't see as many Asians living in poverty or living like black people is because they chose to come here, and they were never as heavily discriminated against (barring incidents around the time of world war 2). Most Asians are immigrants, whereas most black people have lived here nearly as long as we have, but under the control of slavery, laws that have kept them down, and even today current conservative efforts are meant to keep the poor down and out.

I started off believing that blacks were equal, because that's what it said in all of the books in school. It also implied that white people were bad.

As I grew older and traveled around world, I beautiful white and asian cities and negro shitholes.

What pushed me over the edge into racism were all the clear and obvious lies told by the media, politicians, and academics. I couldn't figure out why people would go so far to cover up the truth behind little incidents. Why some groups were so obsessed with "white privilege" . Before the civil rights movement, they were discriminated against and pushed down. And they're still receiving parts of that because the poor are currently being pushed down, at least in the US.

Your "inescapable conclusion" misses out on many of the facts because you're willing to ignore data in an effort to create the view that is most agreeable with what you want to believe.

A lot of them don't behave that way, though. I've seen more and more black people attending college these days, and I've spoken with many of them who are looking to at least get a four year degree. The ones that aren't are still improving themselves.

Some black people are scum. But so are some white people, and some Asian people, and some Arabs. That doesn't make the entirety of that group scum. It makes those individuals scum.
