This
was an image I posted on /sci/, where I speculated on how time travel
would work, without resorting to paradoxes or alternate timelines.
Basicly, when you go back in time, your timeline is destroyed, but can
still produce time travelers, because the "grandfather cause", or
"parent timeline", still exists in the past, with your timeline as its
natural conclusion, had you not gone back in time. |
