Yes, I've smoked alot of weed, used to drink and used to do pills. The affects are pretty much the same, except i get very paranoid when i smoke, think people are out to get me and when i drink i get aggressive and cant control myself

Can schizophrenic people lead normal productive lives? Like able to deal with responsibilities, stress, adapting to new environments etc.

The reason I ask is I'm wondering if the inability to do these things comes from the disorder itself, or if I should beat the shit out of my cousin. He basically gets everynewt gingrich else to do.... everything for him (cooking, phonecalls, work).

Yes, I do hear voices, some are very strange, things like, THE PHONE IS DEAD, i hear that if my phone goes flat sometimes, i sometimes hear noises like, mail men and things like that. I also see shadows under the door at night and see my doorknob turn.

OP here, Yes we can live very normal lives, some things are hard like, making changes in life, exposing myself to a large number of people, sleeping at night, holding down a job and going to school. Things like cooking, phone calls and stuff are easy.

As for the other person, I don't take meds anymore because they make me feel very strage, as a Schizophrenic person i feel like im normal but on them i feel different. They make me feel like i have pains in my knees so i have to sit down, dbut then i get a sore back and then have to stand up it repeats itself, i dont remember what that thing is called but its bad

I found out I was schizophrenic when i was telling my parents that I saw someone try to break into the house a few times and see shadows under the door, obviously they are abnormal things, so i went to the specialst people and they diagnosed me with it. I had to have alot of tests done also

No, I have never exposed myself to anyone, but I have left notes at peoples houses telling them I want to see them in their underwear. I also find pain on the ones i love very funny.

Well I was diagnosed about 2 years ago, I think they were something like brain scans, ct scans. things like that so they can see my brain movement and that sort of thing.

Well, if you know they are abnormal yourself then yes they are most likely voices your hearing. Bare in mind there are alot of different types of Schizophernia.
