thanks for your email, but before I proceed with further negotiations I
must ask the following: Before I go any further, I have to tell you
that I am going to have to make a request for you to prove your identity
to me. The reason for this is that some months ago, I made a deal with a
very ungodly man who was a liar and a thief. After putting my trust and
good Christian faith in him, he stole US $23,773 from me, the miserable
bastard. So, please forgive me if my request seems strange to you.
I
am well aware that in situation like this, false images are freely
available. Sir, I am not accusing you or Dr. Ibrahim of being dishonest,
but I am afraid I cannot accept a passport photograph as proof of
identity. Of course, if I were to see it in person then its validity
would be certain, but as I will only be receiving an image of it, it can
be easily forged. Therefore, I request that you, Mr. Ibrahim, or a
representative make arrangements to send me a photograph holding a sign
with my name and company logo written upon it. On seeing this, it will
prove to me 100% that I am dealing with a totally honest person as this
image will not be able to be forged. If yourself, Mr. Ibrahim, or
representative is agreeable to this then I will forward a suitable image
as an attachment for you to print out. I hope you will agree that this
is a small thing to ask in return for my help in this matter.

I presume that processing fees may be required to facilitate the
release of these funds? In the UK I have to deal with such fees on a
regular basis. This is not a problem, and on receipt of proof of your
identity (the photo) I will be happy to release any necessary funds of
my own should they be needed. If it is at all possible, it would be of
great benefit if you would be able to calculate the total amount that
may be required to facilitate the urgent completion of your proposition.
