I played that too and it was total shit. I'm not sure how to explain it, but it lacked control of the game. Everything was a big blur with random shit just thrown in everywhere.

I remember so many different attributes that did almost the same thing without explaining the difference anywhere. I remember getting a horse, getting on it and having the same move speed.

I liked the big fucking dragons though :D and the easter eggs, they were awesome.

Torchlight is OK, but not very deep. Character customization is very limited. Becomes repetitive fairly quickly.

Titan Quest is much, much better imho. Deeper character development, more environments, better graphics, more kinds of loot etc.

Both are $20 on Steam

This may not be exactly what you're looking for, but I love Diablo 2 and have played it for years, and recently I picked up Borderlands for PS3(also on 360 though) and it is pretty similar but in an FPS kind of way. You find random guns from different types(shotgun, smg, machine rifle, repeater, revolver) and they have a lot of variables that make one better than another or that can be interpreted by playstyle. Some of these are fire rate, capacity, reload speed, elemental effects, weapon zoom, etc. But it's literally Diablo with guns. It's very rpg, there are classes and levels and what not, too. A good buy/something to look into if you're somewhat open minded to an FPSRPG.
