Fact of the matter is that this is wrong, and so is anything of any greater magnitude. If they gunned down a schoolbus full of kids while playing Flight of the Valkyries and laughing maniacally, it still wouldn't excuse this particular murder or any other. The soldiers opened fire on civilians carrying a camera. At no point in time was the Apache gunship in danger, and yet people were murdered.

No news station to my current knowledge showed the camera crew being blown apart, or even talked about the fact that a man taking his kids to school tried to help a wounded reporter and was blown away

Hey, dumbasses. How many of you fucks watched the full length 30min+ video?

Apaches were called in to support ground troops who were taking fire from small arms and RPGs. Those who were targetted in the video were 100m-300m away from ground troops being covered by the Apaches.

The photographer peeked around a corner to snap some pictures and it looked like he was going to fire a weapon. Military reports indicate they had 2 RPGs, an RPG round and an AK47 or AKM. They were a threat to the ground troops and were eliminated. All were confirmed insurgents except the 2 photographers which were grouped with armed individuals.

The photographers didn't have any vests on to indicate they were photographers for the press. Keep in mind the screen on an Apache isn't a large high resolution camera with pause feature to see anyone from that close, including the children.
