    I like the revamped sphere grid they've got going, but I hated the ff12 battle system, and ff13 has a lot of the same elements

    The graphics are amazing and the story actually seems pretty cool so far. Its not a rehash like ff12 was, the battle system is my only real complaint, the game looks solid so far

    What did anon think of ff12?
    I wasn't a huge fan
    I didn't like the battle system, the maps are all ackward when the enemies are all just standing around. I really hated the gambit system, it make battles more like a program, program the right code and you never have to work at it, the story was total generic bullshit, kingdoms, princesses, poor people, knights, etc. I think 13 shows some real promise for improvements in areas that i really didn't like
